Puppy 101 is a basic puppy care and training class. In this class we discuss breed characteristics, potty-training, chewing, and other basic care considerations. We will talk about socialization, introducing your puppy to older pets, and some products that may be helpful. She will also demonstrate how to teach some basic obedience, although that is not the primary goal of this class. We will try to offer this class about once a month to our clients, although the timing may depend upon personal schedules and the level of interest from the community.
Jo Humphrey of Perryton, TX teaches the course. Jo has been training therapy dogs for many years, and moved here from California in 2011. She also teaches obedience for puppies and therapy dogs at the Allen Campus of Frank Phillips College in Perryton.
